Hello. This is Mrs. Fink, principal of Dumbarton. On Thursday morning, September 25, a producer and camera crew from NBC Nightly News will be at Dumbarton is film and speak with our ESOL students. As you know, Dumbarton is one of the centers for middle school for our ESOL population.  Approximately 140 students from 50 different countries attend Dumbarton.  The section of the news will be one of a three-part discussion to be aired in October about the immigrant population. We will represent the schooling aspect as students learn English and, some, begin school for the first time. So, if your child comes home to report that cameras and new people were in the school, you will know the particulars. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
